Green Badge Initiative

Beginning in 2026, U.S. Soccer is introducing Green Badges to identify referees under 18. These young officials are just starting their journey — and they need your support.

They’re learning, growing, and helping the game thrive. Abuse toward Green Badge referees comes with triple the consequences under U.S. Soccer’s Respect the Call policy.

Let’s lead with patience, respect, and encouragement — and protect the future of the game.
